Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team. A starting wage of $18.00 per hour is offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers in their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow established company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Perform general cleaning tasks.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Work both independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience with equivalent knowledge.
