Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with the ALDI team and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly display merchandise.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow all company policies and procedures ensuring security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe handling of equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
