Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and provides exceptional service to our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with inquiries
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Adept at following company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales where applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience will be considered
