Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for managing your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff schedules, and executing operational plans while fostering the growth and development of the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store activities to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Communicate and uphold the organization's core values to create a cohesive team environment.
• Manage staffing needs, schedules, and operational plans effectively.
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure resolutions are achieved.
• Maintain store signage and quality standards for products.
• Participate in the recruitment process and conduct interviews for store personnel.
• Set job expectations and performance goals for direct reports.
• Facilitate training programs for staff development and enhanced performance.
• Oversee store budget, payroll, and inventory management.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years to qualify for this role.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Demonstrated skills in providing exceptional customer service and leadership.
• Knowledge and application of company policies and procedures.
• Experience in retail management with a minimum of 3 years preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
