Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of store management, preparing you for a successful career in running your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational plans while mentoring and leading a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Communicate and uphold company values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure their resolution.
• Maintain store signage and product quality.
• Participate in the hiring and training of store personnel.
• Prepare and manage weekly schedules for optimal staffing.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for staff development.
• Manage store budget and total loss targets.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
• Oversee product merchandising and maintain stock levels.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Proficient in interpreting company policies and procedures.
• Prior experience in retail management preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience is advantageous.
