Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training on all aspects of efficiently operating a store in preparation for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing staffing needs, developing operational plans, and coaching and developing the team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and team performance to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communicate and uphold company values to foster a cohesive team environment.
• Handle customer concerns and ensure prompt resolutions.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in hiring store personnel and managing weekly schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations, recommend advancements, and manage payroll budgets.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory management, and store cleanliness.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient in delivering excellent customer service and leading by example.
• Knowledge of retail policies, management principles, and budgeting.
• Experience operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with management experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role.
