Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join the team at Aldi. As a Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to master all aspects of store management and operations. You will be responsible for supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and executing operational plans while nurturing and guiding the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee team performance to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and uphold the company's core values to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of store personnel.
  • Develop and manage weekly schedules for optimal staffing levels.
  • Conduct regular store meetings and performance evaluations.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Manage store budget, payroll, and loss prevention efforts.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback for product selection.
  • Ensure a safe store environment for all stakeholders.
  • Handle merchandising and inventory tasks according to company guidelines.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
  • Capability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is desirable.
  • Previous managerial experience is a plus.
