Job Description
We are looking for a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. In this full-time role based in Brooklyn, NY, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations near our consolidation/distribution center. Loading and unloading trailers using advanced techniques and technology will also be part of your daily tasks. General Description of Duties
- Pickup and delivery of cargo within the vicinity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Loading and unloading trailers with precision and efficiency.
- Adherence to terminal-specific duties and schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience.
- Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
