Job Description
We are currently seeking a Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. This full-time position in Reno, NV offers the opportunity to be part of one of the country's top LTL carriers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, utilizing your skills to ensure efficient logistics solutions for our customers.
General Description of Duties
- Perform pickup and delivery tasks within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading trailers.
- Adhere to standardized techniques, technology, and procedures in cargo handling.
- Schedules and duties may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (Training available for those with less experience).
- Valid Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Clean and stable work record with a safe driving history.
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
