Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join Aveanna Healthcare, the largest home health care company in the U.S. As a New Graduate LPN, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities

• Deliver and document skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe and assess patient conditions, report changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Implement and update nursing care plans, take appropriate actions, and ensure infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on self-care, disease management, and prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification and proficiency in clinical assessments.
• Preferences include previous clinical care or home health experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Attention to detail, time management, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, reposition patients, and travel as necessary.
• Must have physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and respond to emergencies.
