Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Genesis Healthcare. As our Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. You will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications, supervising patient care, and contributing to care planning.
Position Highlights
- Evaluate patients/residents, collect data, and report changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Current license by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center.
