Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As a valued member of our workforce, you will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of cargo at various locations near the consolidation/distribution center, handling loading and unloading operations using specialized techniques and equipment.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within designated areas.
• Utilize forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading trailers.
• Adhere to specific procedures and guidelines related to cargo handling.
• Operate in accordance with terminal-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required.
• Hold a Class-A CDL with additional endorsements.
• Demonstrate a stable work history and safe driving record.
• Pass DOT pre-employment screenings and medical assessments.
