Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Reno, NV. As part of a leading LTL carrier, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo and the loading and unloading of trailers, utilizing cutting-edge technology and procedures to ensure efficiency.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using dock worker techniques and technology.
• Adapt to varying duties and schedules based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience, with training available for candidates with less experience.
• Hold a Class-A CDL with required endorsements, no automatic restriction.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements.
