Manager in Training

Job Description

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be immersed in all aspects of store operations to prepare you for taking on the responsibility of running your own store. You will supervise daily store activities, enhance overall store performance, manage staffing needs, create operational plans, and mentor the team for success.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communicate company strategy and values to foster teamwork.
• Handle customer concerns and maintain store standards.
• Participate in hiring and scheduling staff.
• Set performance expectations and conduct evaluations.
• Ensure store budgets and goals are met.
• Monitor competitive environment and product feedback.
• Maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Requirements

• 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Proficient in interpreting company policies and procedures.
• Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Prior retail and management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Equivalent education and experience considered.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
