Microbiology Supervisor - Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Microbiology Supervisor to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Day Shift Microbiology Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and supervising the microbiology department, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Enforce sectional and departmental policies and procedures to promote effective operations.
• Monitor supply purchases, adjust personnel scheduling based on patient census fluctuations, and provide guidance to technical personnel.
• Train, evaluate competency, and conduct problem-solving within the department.
• Develop, review, and maintain policy manuals to ensure compliance with accrediting agencies.
• Evaluate technical performance, establish relationships with employees, and resolve departmental issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
• 5-7 years of MT/MLS experience in a hospital lab setting.
