Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. As a driver with ABF Freight, you will play a crucial role in maintaining strong customer relationships by efficiently handling cargo transportation to and from various destinations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers using established techniques, technology, and procedures.
- Adapt duties and schedules based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available for candidates with less experience.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are mandatory.
- Stable work history, strong work ethic, and safe driving records.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
