Job Description

We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As part of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures, explaining imaging procedures to patients, maintaining high imaging standards, and assisting in departmental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients.
  • Maintain high imaging and positioning standards for quality scans.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS Computer System.
  • Assist in other departmental activities as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.), or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible.
  • If registry eligible upon hire, must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
  • Available for 24-hour call back with a 60-minute response time.
