Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are hiring a dedicated Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As an LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves delivering quality patient care, documenting patient information, and ensuring compliance with care plans and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care based on physician orders.
• Observe patient condition, assess care needs, and report changes to supervisors.
• Document all activities, assessments, and care coordination accurately and promptly.
• Participate in updating and implementing nursing care plans.
• Take necessary nursing actions based on assessments, achieving expected outcomes.
• Recognize and address changes in patient needs to prevent or reduce risks.
• Comply with Aveanna policies, regulations, and infection control measures.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, self-care, and prevention.
• Maintain competencies through educational programs and skill evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
• Six months of recent clinical experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• Home health experience preferred.
