Patient Care Tech / Women's Oncology PCT

We are currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a valuable member of the Women's Oncology, OB/GYN, and Pediatric care unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care alongside registered nurses. With a focus on empathy and teamwork, your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, assisting with basic tasks, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities

• Work closely with registered nurses to deliver top-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any concerns promptly.
• Record and maintain accurate patient vital signs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Ensure timely response to patient needs and call lights.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly patient environment.
• Participate in hourly rounding and shift handover processes.
• Perform direct patient care tasks and offer clerical support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Understanding of patient care procedures and practices.
• Preferred: Minimum of two years of acute or long-term care experience.
• Preferred: Proficiency in phlebotomy procedures.
• Preferred: Completion of CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification, or enrollment in nursing school.
