Safety and Security Regional Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety and Security Regional Manager to join our team at ABF Freight, a subsidiary of ArcBest. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our company assets and employees while maintaining compliance with all regulations and standards.

General Description of Duties

• Conduct safety and security inspections of company facilities and properties.
• Investigate vehicular accidents, handle loss prevention activities, and analyze data to identify and rectify issues.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and enforce safety protocols.
• Train and orient employees on safety and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in transportation safety or law enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulations.
• Ability to work irregular hours and be on call 24/7.
