ArcBest, an industry-leading LTL carrier, is seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Regional Manager to join our team. As part of the ABF Freight division, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a secure work environment.

General Description of Duties:

• Conduct safety and security inspections of company facilities and properties.
• Investigate and manage vehicular accidents, including documenting scenes, interviewing witnesses, and completing reports.
• Lead loss prevention meetings, training sessions, and analyze data to implement corrective actions.
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and manage hazardous material incidents.
• Oversee personnel performance, expenditures, and DOT compliance.
• Assist in the Alternate Work Program and support departmental goals.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional irregular hours.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience: Minimum five years in transportation, safety, or law enforcement; investigative experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Other Requirements: Strong background in safety regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials, and law enforcement. Ability to work in potentially hazardous situations.
