Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate documentation of sterilization processes.
• Participate in receiving and reprocessing activities.
• May serve as a preceptor to new staff or cross-train OR staff in Sterile Processing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification such as CRCST, CSPDT, or CST preferred.
