Job Description

We are seeking a Store Management Trainee to join the Aldi team. As a Full-Time Trainee, you will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of managing a store, with the goal of preparing for a Store Manager role. Responsibilities include supervising team performance, ensuring customer service excellence, managing staffing, and implementing operational strategies. This position requires flexibility to travel within a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise team operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate company values and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Manage store signage, product quality, and hiring processes.
  • Create schedules, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Maintain budget goals, monitor inventory, and ensure store safety.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement of 18.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of company policies and management principles.
  • Experience operating a cash register and retail equipment.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of retail experience, including management exposure.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
