Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

Join the Aldi team as a Store Operations Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and ensure merchandise displays are appealing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback to the management regarding products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, ensure data security, and uphold confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
