Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Stock shelves, maintain merchandising displays, and keep the store tidy.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and handle data confidentially.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and follow company procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma preferred, previous retail experience is a plus.
