Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate key competencies and professional skills as outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide top-notch customer service, assist shoppers, and collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to the management team.
  • Participate in inventory procedures and uphold cash policies and company standards.
  • Follow established company policies, ensure document security, and fulfill assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Proficient in customer service, cash handling, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and teamwork mindset.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience is a plus.
