Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Comply with company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience desired
