Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
