Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized and customers receive top-notch service. From merchandising products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior retail experience is preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Relevant work experience in a retail setting is advantageous
