Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the overall customer shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, Aldi Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum age required: 18 years.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
