Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required
  • Process customer purchases and maintain neat merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, report issues to management, and follow cash handling procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality
  • Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general store upkeep

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
  • Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment effectively and safely
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • High school diploma preferred with prior retail work experience
