Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves collaborating with the ALDI team, maintaining cleanliness, and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Stock merchandise, process customer purchases, and maintain neat displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store managers.
- Contribute to inventory management and ensure accuracy in product counts.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company procedures and policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks according to guidelines.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Capability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
