Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the store is well-organized and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to create a welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to cleaning standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver courteous and efficient customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in retail operations is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
