Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team will contribute to our success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
