Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operation runs smoothly by handling various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your contribution will directly impact the customer shopping experience and the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold security standards, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
