Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
  • Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and other issues to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and established procedures.
  • Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capability to handle cleaning tasks to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • High school diploma preferred; prior retail experience advantageous.
