Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform cashier duties and ensure accurate processing of customer purchases.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize merchandise displays effectively.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and providing product guidance.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational challenges to improve store performance.
• Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling policies.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling customer transactions efficiently.
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
