Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established company policies while ensuring data security.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating cash registers accurately.
- Able to operate store equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capable of meeting cleaning standards and following company procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
