Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers through collaboration with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt customer service and operate a cash register efficiently
• Proficiency in using store equipment and following company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
