Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional competencies and behaviors outlined by the company.
• Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and collaborating with team members.
• Report product issues, manage inventory, and adhere to store policies.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered.
