Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a competitive starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash procedures to minimize losses and uphold company policies.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register.
• Ability to use equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Experience in retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
