Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a vital part in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, manage inventory, and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies, ensure security of documents, and perform other assigned tasks

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable
