Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) regularly.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain company standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
