Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness according to standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
