Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a critical member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and provide exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies, uphold company procedures, and maintain document security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
