Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by handling merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange shelves and displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Comply with cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security.
• Complete any other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Adhere to state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail work experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
