Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the company's standards.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow company policies maintaining document security and confidentiality
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
  • Operational knowledge of store equipment and cleaning procedures
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
