Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a vital member of our store operations, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, all while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures to prevent discrepancies.
• Follow company policies, uphold security standards, and adhere to guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Proficient in operating cash registers, equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
• Meet all necessary requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Educational background or relevant experience is beneficial.
