Job Description

We are hiring a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store duties, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management
  • Participate in inventory management tasks and adhere to cash handling procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in cashier operations and equipment handling
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of the role
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
