Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Monitor inventory, provide feedback on products, and follow cash policies diligently
- Adhere to company policies, ensure data security, and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Proficiency in general cleaning duties and adherence to company guidelines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
- Meet all necessary requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
